Happy Mother's Day!

To all my friends and family: whether you are mothers or will be mothers, hope you have a great day. Mother's Day is not my favorite holiday-- it always makes me feel guilty for not being one of those super moms I always hear about in Sacrament Meeting. But, I feel that each of you are super special so I hope you have a great day!

From one unperfect monther to another, Happy Mother's Day. And just remember, we all have our dirty little secrets when it comes to mothering.

You are a wonderful mother!!! I always hear stories of super moms but have never actually met one in real life. I'm beginning to think they're made up. : ) We missed you this morning! Hope all is well!

On mother's day before the closing prayer in sacrament meeting, our bisop got up and made sure that we all felt like winners on a day when so many of us remember all of our imperfections. Since everyone is talking about how "perfect" their mother is. I would hope that someday my kids would remember me as "perfect" even though we all know that isn't true. Get rid of your "mom guilt" and just love that YOUR kids love you and as long as they know that YOU love them.. that's all that matters. A Perfect mother is such a horrible misconception. :-)
